Masaka Children's Fund's  mission is to provide underprivileged children  a better future through education, promote economic development, and create a healthy environment for the community.

A grant was given  to the Daughters of Mary shoe shop to train 12 deaf students. Here is their thank-you:

“"I am Geofrey Katongole from Kigo village, a student from St. Anthony's Secondary School in Senior two. The purpose for my letter is to thank you for everything you do for me so that to support my education. I pray for you regularly. And I also need your prayers so that I can fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse. Thank you so much."

" My name is Katusabe Justine. I go to St. Cecilia Primary School.. I am in Primary Seven. In my future I want to be a nursery teacher. I thank you for all of the support you have given for my whole life. I would never have been where I am without your support. May the good Lord award you abundantly."

The Lives We Impact

  • Educational fee support
  • Health care for HIV/AIDs positive students
  • Housing, food and clothing
  • Emergency help to local schools damaged by fire
  • Outreach to homeless children in Masaka

We’re fortunate to have access to free public education. In Uganda, only 52% of the children complete primary school. Of those that go on to high school, only 17% graduate. The major road block - money.
